The talented crew of the MX Bulk fleet recently submitted over forty entrants to the 2020 edition of our Photography competition. This year’s chosen theme was ‘Life on Board’ and entrants had a wide variety of takes on what this meant to them.
The quality of photographs submitted has been excellent and we have been blown away by the photographic talent we have discovered sailing under our flag. After much deliberation, and the odd impassioned endorsement, the judging panel were pleased to announce the following winners:
1st Prize: Photo of electrical officer Michael A. Marty taken by EC John Paul Cañete on Isabella Manx
2nd Prize: Submitted by Captain Bernales and all crew on Isabella Manx
3rd Prize: Submitted by AB William L. Ocampo on Scarlett Manx
In addition to the three podium positions, one entry so brilliantly encapsulated the spirit of MX Bulk that it was necessary to award the crew of the Isabella Manx a special bonus prize for their photograph ‘Team Spirit’:

Whilst the photography competition is just a small aspect of MX Bulk’s dedication to ensuring the wellbeing of our crew, all of us based ashore at MX Bulk wish to take this opportunity to commend our seafaring colleagues for their exceptional dedication, hard work and positivity during what has been a very challenging year.
