Against the backdrop of the continuing Covid-19 situation, August has provided MX Bulk with reason for some much needed celebration as the first steel cutting took place for two of Our new build Kamsarmax vessels in China. Both vessels are due for delivery in summer 2021 and we will be following their progress closely as they take shape over the next year. MX Bulk would like to thank Tsuneishi Shipbuilding (Zhoushan) for their excellent efforts with our newbuilds during these challenging times.
The Kamsarmaxes, which will again sport names inspired by the Isle of Man, will both be welcome additions to the growing fleet and represent an expansion into a new sector for MX Bulk. A further vessel will also commence construction later this year for delivery in 2021 which will make for an exciting year ahead.
